Comments: Ferrofluid is an engineered assemblage of nanoscale magnetic particles which are 100 times smaller than the wavelength visible light. Although too small to be imaged with microscopes, nano-products harness surprising properties from nanoscale physics for use in the macroscale world. The LED lamps inside the Ferrofluid Magnetoscope exhibit are another example of a technology undergoing rapid development through improved control of manufacturing at the nanometer scale.
